Juliet rubs the back of her neck and grimaces at the backspace key. Stupid broken keyboard. This was seriously getting to her. Practically retyping her reports three times just because of one broken letter made her tense with the urge to throw things.

It had been a difficult week. On the one hand awesome - loads of great cases - on the other hand horrible because now there was the paperwork of loads of great cases on her desk. And her computer chooses that exact moment to make her cranky.

So when she talks to Gus on the net and he makes the offer of letting her use the computer at the psych office (thus sparing her the speech of "A good detective never blames his tools, O'Hara"... or likewise) she doesn't think twice but gathers her stuff and makes sure she gets the hell out.

Before Buzz can deliver the message that she'll leave her cell phone on.

I can't help but wonder now.

Class reunion, backbiting all inclusive. Cranky.

Junior Detective Juliet O'Hara knows that only stupid people underestimate chances.

With Carlton being on vacation (also called "finally being as far away from Spencer as possible") without assigning her to another senior detective she knows that everything has to be perfect. She really doesn't want her partner to come back and face some unorganized havoc. She really doesn't want him to give her the 'I thought we were past that stage' look that always gives her the feeling she has to start from scratch. And she absolutely doesn't want to screw this up and look like a silly rookie who seems too young or inexperienced for this.

So she has been working hard on the reports all day, has organized stuff, talked to the officers, finished all the paperwork and now looks forward to a new case.
